CAMBODIA SERVICE TRIP

What We Do

Sustainable Health Empowerment (SHE) in Cambodia is an annual service trip to Cambodia that strives to promote the importance of preventive care in Cambodia and to serve Cambodia's people through collaborative education and free health services. Each year, UCLA students and SHE co-directors Dr. Teri Tan, PhD. and Dr. Lilliana Stojic, DDS. collaborate with Cambodian students in the medical field and Cambodian medical and business professionals to bring health education presentations and free health services to various provinces in Cambodia. Through health education, we hope to give Cambodian individuals the knowledge they need in order to take care of themselves and their families and to eliminate health disparities in their communities. In addition to health education, we provide Cambodian communities with free dental services, free eyeglasses and sunglasses, and free prosthetic arms and consultation. As a completely student-run service trip, we truly appreciate any donation or help we receive.
